Welcome to Klabu Eats. These Terms of Service govern your use of our platform, services, and applications.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Klabu Eats, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Our Role
Klabu Eats is a technology platform that connects students (Customers) with local food sellers (Vendors) and Delivery Riders. We facilitate the ordering process but do not prepare or cook food ourselves.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate information
- Keep account credentials secure
Responsibilities
- All activity under your account
- Updating outdated information
- Reporting unauthorized access
3. Orders & Payments
All payments are processed through M-Pesa. By placing an order, you agree to pay the total amount including food price and delivery fees.
Manual payment: pay the required amount to specified till
Saver Delivery
KSh 30 - Batched delivery for maximum savings.
Express Delivery
KSh 50 - Faster, dedicated rider just for you.
Vendors
Vendors are responsible for food quality, hygiene, and accurate menu pricing. Klabu Eats is not liable for food-related issues.
Riders
Riders are independent contractors responsible for safe handling and timely delivery of your orders.
4. Refunds & Cancellations
Once an order is confirmed by a vendor, it cannot be cancelled. Refunds may be issued at our discretion in cases of:
Prohibited Activities
Users are strictly prohibited from:
- Using the platform for fraudulent activity
- Abusing vendors or riders
- Interfering with platform security
- Creating multiple accounts for fee evasion
